EPQ exhibition write up!

 











Here i had my EPQ final piece in the EPQ exhibtion of my year classes. 
I finihsed my final piece,  made sure that it was all perfect and done, and then i procceded to go and get / collect a good A2 picture frame and then i put my final piece for the Derwent Prize, Into the good quality frame and made sure that it was all secure and well put in the frame andnsuited the coour and size well etc. 
i then took it down to the thetare and went back ti class, then after class i went bac to th thestre,  and then i put my final piece up and put my QR code for the feedback form i also made up too as well, i also made sure that the QR code worked as well too.
when the exhibition started i went around and looked at everyones aartwork and watched peoples presentations etc. i then proceeded to then go around again and take some more pics, including pictures of my artwork and final piece and QR code asd well too. I also watched one of m friends presentations and gave feedback as well too. 

overall i enjoyed the exhibtion and seeing my piece up in another exhibtion as well too, and also i enjoyed seeing other peoples pieces as well, and giving feedback to my friend as well. Sadly nobody scanned my QR code for giving me feedback, (Exept for my friend testing it for me), so unfortuenly i cant reflect back on my feedback as i dont have any. 
i think that the exhibtion went really well overall and i really enjoyed it! (i also enjoyed wtahcing mym friend oresent and i enjoyed giving feedback!)

Week 13 - Cancelled so INDEPENDENT RESEARCH TRIP TO CARDIFF

 Unfortunately this week and session was cancelled. However I took this time and independently researched into my theme, and went on a trip to Cardiff instead, and took lots of primary sources as Cardiff was a huge part of mine and my sisters childhood, it was so nostalgic, and I took so many photos for primary research etc. I really looked around and as I did, I remembered so many good memories too, taking this independent trip to Cardiff city really helped inspire and inform my current and latest project with more primary sources for childhood and Nostalgia.                                                         About Me - Freya Welch  My name is Freya Welch, I am currently studying Art and Design, Level 3, year 2. I am super passionate about Art and design and the concepts behind it all, I am 17 and i love to draw. I focus mainly on illustration and fine art. However i do like and enjoy other things as well. My EPQ - Week 5 - Date : 15/OCT/25 - 13/OCT/25

Week 4, The starting and everything that i have done so far on my EPQ.  In week 1 i did many mind-maps, exploring what i could do for my EPQ theme, i did research into different pathways and areas that i could explore for my EPQ, i thought of a range of different things and ideas making sure that i am positive and decided in what i will be doing.  For the second week of my EPQ journey, i began yet more mind-maps and mood-boards, making sure that i can really portray all of my ideas down on to paper, noting it down. i filled the pieces of A3 paper really heavily, making sure to use as much paper as needed / possible as well as getting any ideas i could thinking of at the time down and noted.  On week 3, i took part in a lesson where we covered the entire classroom floor in paper, and some lied down while some did the drawing on the floor, week 3 was inspired by Tony Orrico, we tried his way / technique of drawing, where you lie on the ground and wave your arms around and d...
